Removing Cassette Holder?

Removing Cassette Holder?
Has anyone removed the cassette/CD holder under the radio in their Camaro? I never use mine, or the cigarette lighter attached to it, and wanted to see what it looks like without it. Can I even do this? Any pics?

Funny you should ask that.I did it last night.There are some plastic rivets that are holding it down and one bolt.I popped the rivets loose with a screwdriver which broke them.Then took the bolt out and disconnected the lighter and it came right out.
I'm going to put some extra gauges in mine.
To keep it secure I'm going to use some velcro at the bottom so it won't move around.
As far as how it looks with out it,it looks like azz.Really BIG gap.
