Question Removed Your Front License Plate and Tired of Looking at Those 'Holes'

This is an idea I ran across JasonD and thought it would look a ton better than holes on the front of my car. Very cheap mod and keeps the car looking nice and clean (Smoothlocks come into play).

Nasty Holes Front End

"Smoothlock" Front End

Since I had my black area clear coated I just got the black version of them from Jason. But, if your front is not clear coated I'm sure you could just grab the primered version and paint them flat black.

Just and idea I though I would run across to you guys for an easy, clean fix.

Hey, good idea Kev-O!

Brent's example is a lot cleaner, but also a lot more difficult. This is a great quick fix without spending much money.

this is one of the reasons that im so happy im getting a whole new front bumper (bc of an accident) i will NEVER mount my LP the stock way again. IM thinking about making a bracket that mounts from under the car. think this will pass NJ inspection?? drilling the holes again is something i find tooo painful

Same here. After the armored truck crashed into my car, the insurance company was talking about patching the bumper cover together, but I pitched a fit and eventually got a new one.

Bye bye holes

I used super glue and sand to fill mine and primed it. I'm about to paint my whole car so it won't look as hideous.

Still don't like it....if I ever get the front painted again...they're filling in those holes and painting over it.

It helps for sure...

if it were me, I'd prolly just have them filled in with other body work, but damn, that'd hide well behind a billet grill

You had that area painted... Why didnt ya take off the chevy logo??

I had the whole car painted. Did you want me to put a Ford logo there in it's place?!

Well that can be a $10 fix that looks nice or you could go to the body shop and pay over $100. Either way, I think it looks a ton better.
