Pics are on page 3 of my sig.

I removed my side molding, and replaced the ugly block style emblems with black 98+ style emblems.

Anybody that has done this, i need the drivers door piece, if any of you still have it, let me know. Any color will work, doesn't matter to me. I just need one so i can put my car in the body shop and get my car painted.

What are the chances of the paint underneath sucking? I want to do this on my black 93 Z, but am a little afraid!

The chances are very slim, it looked GREAT, like, you couldn't tell there was anything over them, after peeling off the sticky stuff. I polished and waxed the doors for good measure, and you can see no difference at all (on mine anyways)

did this to my bird... damn was i disappointed... I got off all the passenger side molding off and both the lil pieces in front and back of my DS door... it looked beautiful until i peeled off the driver side molding and found out that someone painted the door without removing the molding.. leaving a deep noticable groove in it ( a few less layers of paint there).... i was real pissed... it looks soo clean without it... now i gotta put em back on...

Took a piece off my Z today, great looking underneath, but there were little etchings all around where the piece used to be. I had to put in back on with some 3m adhesive from WalMart. It was going to look so good too!

Well i am the first one, I absolutly hate how my car looks without them. It never had them, i guess it just never came from the factory with them. It may look clean, but it just takes away from the line in the door and makes the side off the car have no character at all. It just looks like it shops off. Besides, i hate driving a car that looks like its missing something. Not to bash on anyone that likes their car with it off, but i just want mine to look like it was supposed to. So, since everyone is taking theirs off, i've been trying to find the pieces so i can get the complete set.

I'm in the cross over. It was a Formula, now its a multi colored Trans Am thats waiting to get painted. Since i'm having the whole thing painted, i am planning on putting those on so it will look like it was supposed to.

Thumbs down

I "removed" the front bumper pointy molding when I scraped my parents garage. I called Bill Graham to order another faster than a *****. Granted, it's not as bad as the Trans Am front bumper swap on a non TA, but bad nonetheless.
