Remote Controlled Convertible Top!

I want one of these! A few newer cars automatically open and close with the push of a button, without having to physically lock/unlock both latches for the top. Do you think it's possible to put an actuator and relays in the convertible top so it opens and closes with the push of my car alarm's remote?

That's just what I need cause god knows I'm too lazy to reach my arms up, unlock the latches, and press the little button.

I am getting remote windows installed, and have always wanted remote drop top. It would be possible, but way too expensive.

Ok, the remote windows I want. Yes, I am lazy, but that's not why I want them.

Most of these newer cars that automaticaly latch the top are convertible hard tops. This would not be possible with our soft tops since they are not made in a way in which they lign up perfectly with the latch every time. Sometimes, as you know, you have to coax it there a little.
