Red, Yellow, Green, Purple Headlight Bulbs...

Hello all. I recently found some headlight bulbs in these colors and found a place to buy them local to me for pretty cheap...After I found them I looked around on the net to find the prices. The cheapest ones I found were here for $28.80.

If anyone is interested in these, I can get them for like $25 ($24.99) and ship them out to you just to save you some dough...I thought some folks might be interested in them, they are for show only but they would look pretty cool I think on the right setup (for show)!

If you find them cheaper on the net, let us know, because this isn't for me to make any money, it's just for your guys benefit...but like I say, if you can't find them cheaper, and want me to pick you up a pair and ship 'em out to you, I will be more than happy too.

Really? Hey Paul, do they make LED brake and turn signal lights for our cars? If so, do you have to do anything special to make them fit and where can you get them from?

They do make LED's for your brakelights, but I wouldn't recommend them. They will last longer but they aren't as bright during the day.

Check this link if you are still interested:

As for the turn signals do you mean the dual filiment ones in the front as well ? Or just the rear turn signals ?

Do they not work as good as the ones on the Caddilac Deville and the BMW Z8?

I'd like to do them both if it's possible. I don't know how well they'd work being DRLs though.

Thx for the link btw! I'm checking them out now. Any idea on the prices of the lights from that site? Looks pretty good.

It isn't the DRL's that would be a problem. It is the dual filiment action for the blinkers that is a issue.

I have never priced them because LED's are not a priority for me. Make sure and post pics though, if you do it. It might look cool.

Ok, thx for the info.

Well, it's not a priority for me either but I do want to do it. It just won't be my next mod. I want to go with Sylvania Silverstar hyperwhite headlight, fog light and reverse light bulbs and LED turn signals and brake lights.

He means that the bulbs that are in drl's have 2 filaments. They use the brighter one during the day, and when your headlights are on they are dimmer, which is the 2nd filament. Since LED's don't have dual filaments, getting them to work with our drls could pose a pretty big problem.

Ok, cool. Thanks for clearing that up. Hmm. I guess when I do it I'll just do the back ones first and work on the front ones later.
