Red Alert is complete again
I don't know if I had posted the damage pictures from April 20th, but figured I'd do up some pics.
Back on April 20th, I was driving to work and was in the right lane to turn right when a pickup truck with a landscaping trailor went from the right lane across my lane to turn into a corner gas station. Little did he realize, I was DIRECTLY next to his trailor when he cut right across my car, ripping my fender and bumper apart.
Well, the insurance company came out to appraise the vehicle's value and appraised it at $5,500. They then told me the car was totalled and the buyback value was $490. C'mon, get my car back and have a check for $5,010 when the damage estimate was only $4,700? No brainer! Especially when we got the price damage estimate down to $4,200.
So, they fixed the car just in time for my website's annual car show which I hold at the local metro parks. This year, we were ABSOLUTELY blessed by GM to have the silver Camaro Concept coupe and the Camaro Convertible Concept at our show for a few hours!
Well, the fog lights were missing still... had to fab up some custom foglight brackets to fit.

Haha thanks, that's why I went with the hood actually -- most people don't like it, so I knew it'd be one of those hoods that stands out and would be different. I knew from the start that it'd look good with the stripes half on the hood, kinda makes it blend in more.
