what can be done to make the back look good at the top with the dot pattern on the window. i just got my car tinted, and it looks like crap at the top of the window. Anything I can do?

 

Did you put tints over the dots or did you stop the tint right before the black dots? I hear a lot of people just tint right over them, but then they take the chance of having the tint develop bubbles. Others have tinted it up to the dots, but not over it and it looks fine.

I've heard if you take some fine sandpaper to the dots before applying the tint it will stick much better.

The Place that did mine put a piece of Black Vinyl over the dots. That's what most places do. I've heard of a few places actually painting them, but I like the Vinyl better myself.

I have heard that there is a SPRAY on tint available, but I keep forgetting who makes it. You would just tint up to the dots and then use the spray to spray right over the dots. I believe it was VHT that made it?
