Black reflective to match what you have.

Actually, my site is so outdated it is hard to find the vinyl page from my main pages. LOL! The link is listed above though in one of my replies.

Re: Rear Panel "CAMARO" Overlay/ Reflective Z/28 Badges

Well I am finally getting to the ordering point of getting the rear "CAMARO" overlays and maybe some bowtie and "Z28" ones too. I thought Chrome or light silver reflective would be nice. Anyone have pic of either on a Bright Red Camaro? I know xxsaint69x has Chrome ones but I dont know if that would be too much (plus they dont come in reflective) or the light silver would be fine. I know this is an old thread but now I have the bolt on's done, time for some good looks. Anyone?

I think the silver would look good

The silver vinyl lasts a little longer than chrome too. However, if you park your car in the garage and care for it, longevity of either won't be an issue

Re: Rear Panel "CAMARO" Overlay/ Reflective Z/28 Badges

I think i would go with Reflective Silver for a red car.

And Brent i purchased some Black Reflective Camaro overlay for my green car. But i'm a little hesitant to try to put it on because i don't wanna mess it up. I know you said you can't use any soap for the reflective vinyl so do you have any suggestions for me so i don't mess up? I put on the carbon fiber front emblem vinyl and it looks good. Its a tiny bit not center but you can't tell unless u just stare at it closely.

For the reflective, just be very careful and just GENTLY place the decal. If it isn't in the right place you are supposed to be able to lift the decal and try again because of the special adhesive on the reflective. However, don't bank on being able to do that so take your time and be very careful and you'll be OK

What do you guys think of the Stainless Steel inserts? Anyone have them? Thoughts?

BTW My girlfriend is going to school for fashion design and thinks Chrome would look nice but I am wondering if the SS ones would be beneficial for the long hual. Plus they would match/set off the Polished SS GMMG tips I have.

Re: Rear Panel "CAMARO" Overlay/ Reflective Z/28 Badges

Even further down the road...I have decided to paint my calipers also and use either silver or chrome decals on the front ones. Now know I want the decals on the calipers (probably red or black to match the car) to be the same as the rear CAMARO insert and badges. I dont really like the black Z / 28's around the car since the are hard to read and barely noticable. Also have considered old school Z / 28 badges, or none at all.

I have pics of Chrome but not silver or light silver. Whatever I do I want it the same all the way around the car. Light silver seems like it might be less ricer than Chrome.

Above everything I just dont want the car to look crappy, cluttered, or gaudy. If anyone can host pics I have 4 of the Chrome on red theme. Thanks fella's.

The silver on red looks pretty good and still classy if you know what I mean. The silver would then work with either black or red painted calipers. You have lots of options which makes it hard to decide

Yes, the many choices make it hard, although I like what xxsaint69x has done with his red Z. Looks more balanced in the rear without the badges...also gets those under-educated ricers off gaurd.

Re: Rear Panel "CAMARO" Overlay/ Reflective Z/28 Badges

I have a white car with the black reflective and it looks kickass. I also have 5% all around, black ZR1s, front and rear blackouts.. I like the black insert because it goes with the Z28 emblem, and just gives the "stock" appearance. If I can find a tail light panel on ebay anytime soon I'm going to paint it black and get some white reflective inserts. I also originally bought white brake caliper decals because I was planning on powdercoating my calipers black which would have matched with my chrome rims, but now that I have black rims, I am going to powdercoat my calipers the same color as my stripes because it will look good.. Now I am wondering if I should get black decals for the calipers instead of white..

You are so right, there are too many choices, it just makes me ramble! lol
