I'm thinking of buying a used rear bumper to replace the one that got broken up when I got rearended, how hard is it to prep it? Say it came painted, what would I need to do to take off the old paint and get it in shape so the body shop could paint it? I don't really want to pay a fortune for a new bumper cover and don't want the body shop to have to clean it (save $$ on labor).
