ram-air hoods

Does anyone have the ram air style hood from harwood...the 12202...is it a functional ram air hood or is there a way to make it functional...how about SLP's ultra Z hood...is that one a functional hood...how do yall like them...any problems with them?...how much different is it for the pin-on hoods? I want to get one and i was looking at them today and couldn't find the information that iw as lookin for....i like the harwood hood but it sound like it is funtional when they call it ram air style

The SLP hoods are just like OEM. I have seen the camaro hood on a freinds car and it had the same set-up underthe hood as a factory WS6.

I had the slp ultra z hood on my 94z.
It was an awesome hood. It is functional but you have to buy the airbox to go with it from slp. It is suppose to be the best flowing ram air hood set up out there. It fit pretty good after about 30 minutes of massaging it around.

I got the American Sports Car Design SS ram air hood from www.ls1speed.com It fits perfect and looks great. And yes the hood is functional.

My husband & I have a SunCoastCreation hood on ours. You can get the airbox with it. or go to a junk yard & get one off of a Firehawk. The Air cleaner is the same as the 90s Corvettes.
