which racing seats?
Id say that the Corbeau line is the best for the price.
I sell tons of the corbeaus on a dailey basis due to the price and quality. I run them in both of our shop cars. I have pics of several differant models in my WS6 in the link in my sig.
I tried the CR1's originally and personally didnt like them. I sell the TRS's mostly to F-Body guys it seems. Thats what both of my cars run. They have a nice lumbar supprt and a thicker fabric on them which seems to hold up real good.
other seats I sell that are higer quality and double the price would include Sparco, Cobra and Bride
Call me if you need any pricing or more info since im a site sponsor.

Hey Scott -
Why is it that you sell more TRS's than CR1's?
My buddy has a set of CR1's in his Mustang and I absolutely love the way they fell and fit. Is there something that makes the TRS's more desirable in the F-Bodies?

ive wanted new seats im not totally happy with my stock ones, they dont hold me in good on the corners. the thing is i cant find ones that match my interior, and i want to be able to sit in different seats first not buy based on looks or price. is there any stores i could try to find that i could sit in the seats and decide? hehe
I had been considering getting new seats for a while. I am more concerned with weight though. It seems the majority of the "Racing seats" are almost as heavy as the stock ones. I actually saw a comparison thing of seats in one of the import magazines and the really light nice seats were from $600-1000, while the others all weighed 20-40 pounds. I was even considering the Summit Racing buckets...at only 12 pounds a piece..sounded good. Any suggestions Ws6cott?

Black Bowtie... The reason I think is due to the fact that the lumbar support is more supportive and the material its self is stronger. Another factor might be that the CR1's tend to seperate on the sides after as soon as 6 monthes in some cases. I thing they are a great seat for show cars and what not but I personally do not reccomend them for daily driven or race applications.
Ronin...I have a large selection of seats in my show room. If you were in Detroit id invite you down. If you go on Corbeaus website they have a place that you can request info for your areas "preffered Dealer". This dealer should have the Corbeau line in house and possibly others as well. Id start trying with that.
SpectacularZ ... Id look into the Kirkey seats. Those would probably fit your needs. The Pro Sport by corbeau is another good choice but it a bit costly.

pete...the legacys are really nice. Ive installed to sets of them personaly and thought they were reallly nice.
the sizes are on corbeaus site i believe. I typically use the standard size for me..im about 6ft @ 200 pounds. Some people smaller like them wider...some people bigger like them standard...its pretty much a prefferance you know?
I want to say that the standard are up to 34 waste and the wide add two to three inches.
I can post exact dimensions tomarrow when I get back to the shop.

I want to get the Corbeau TRS seats in black leather
give me a call tomarrow...ill hook u up on a good price for those. I just put some black leather cr1's in a customers 97 z28 and they matched his factory black leather perfectly.
it turned out really well.
I sell the Cobra line of seats too. In my opinion they are built better than the Corbeaus. the price is a few bucks more but the seat is nicer in my opinion. I think I may be switching over to them for my WS6. You may want to check into those. Ill grab some pricing if anyones interested
