Questions about Orange Halos that was posted before.
I am definitely going to get the halos for my car. I saw something that orangeapeel posted before with his halos with the orange light in the center bulb of the halo lights.
A few questions about that.
1) is there someway that you can make that turn on and off with a switch as opposed to having it turn on with just the regular headlights?
2) would something like what he has get you pulled over by the cops? If so, thats why i asked the first question.
3) how long do the bulbs lasts that he used with the orange bulb?
4) are they an easy replacement if they eventually burnout?
I guess i would appreciate it if you could chime in orangeapeel. Afterall, its about what you have in your car.

i helped a friend of mine put some halo lights on his civic once (did i really just admit that..) anyway the halo's just wire in to another source of power, usually the turn signals. I dont think it would be very hard at all to wire in an outside switch to cut them on and off at will. As far as the life and info on these lights the new sponser LEDgauges.com has them on their page, im sure theyll be glad to answer those questions for ya!

i thoguht the halo in the center was blue?, even though im a firebird guy, im curious to know, can you change that color in the middle or is it like a set thing?
also i didnt mean to hijack your thread so sorry about that, im just curious too

The cheapest way is to get the headlights off ebay, tear the covers off, and replace the LEDs with ones from ledgauges.com.
The easiest way is to buy the entire headlights with the orange LEDs in there.. just tell them that's the color you'd like.
And, yes, you can hook them up to a switch. I've got my halos hooked up to come on with the foglights.
