Question about Gauge needles.

I just got my new cluster in with the correct milage, and I've had the reverse indiglos from ebay for a few days as well. At first I took the Voltage needle off, but remembered that I didnt have to take any off, so I put it back as best as I could to the correct spot.

Here is my main question, the others needles were not removed, but were moved in order to slide the face guages in. Will this affect the reading when I put them into my car?? The Tach and Speedo needles move back and forth depending on how I'm holding the cluster. Will the car put them to the correct reading once I plug them in, or do I have to set them to what my current needles are at??

As long as you didn't remove them completely and then put them back on, they will be fine. The gauge mechanism will reset them. I have had mine in and out several time, moved them back and forth by had. It doesn't cause any problems.

The gas needle might need to be adjusted. Just fill the tank up and move the needle to F.

Or do like I did and if you know your tank is near empty move it to E, i figured it was more important to know when it is close to empty over when it is full

Gas needle has always been wrong in my car, I just keep an eye on the milage and see where the needle is at when I know I need to fill up.
