question about firebird door panels

i have regular firebird panels with roll up windows, so it has the flat speaker grill on it. im switching over to power windows soon and wanted the dual speaker pod style door panel, just wonderig if its possible to switch my map holder and flat speaker grill with that of the style of the dual speaker pod. just want to swithc the bottom piece not the whole panel, cant seem to find panels with cloth and dual speaker pods.

The plastic pieces are kind of melted into the panel. Im not sure if the parts will fit if you try and switch them, but it would be a PITA to do even if they did.

They are 2 piece. They can be taken apart pretty easily, the challenge is finding a way to put them back together.

I've done it and had alot of problems getting them right, in all honesty one popped loose a few days ago and I'm going to have to try to redo it.

you can try to melt the plastic and pull the panel through leaving the tab intact and then melt it back down, but it want's to break because it's now brittle from being heated up several times. Hot glue doesn't hold it, I have had some success with various Epoxies, but even that is difficult to get to work.

You can do it, it's just a bit of a pain
