Hello all, I just sold my 96 Impala SS and am in the market for a m6 camaro or T/A. The only local car is this purple T/A

I have driven the car and am going to decide on purchasing it today. I am not real wild about the color, but I guess I will get used to it. I was told that this was a very rare color. What do you all think?

 

id get it also,the color is rare.compuvision over on fbody just got one.if u do get it def clean up that engine bay

 

i would pass....rare or not its still an ugly fu<king color...

this will not be the only m6 in your area...you will find another one and chances are it will be a much better color

locally (its purple just bad lighting)and I couldnt pass it up for the price, They only made 45 purple Hawks made. It looks good at nite.

 

I would get it, I like the color and it is pretty rare, since I found that color out I have yet to see a purple T/A.

But don't buy it just based on the color cause it might be ragged to hell

That's one of my favorite TA colors. It's kinda rare but rare might not be the right word. I'd say go for it if you're looking for a high mileage, cheaper TA. It looks clean but that's realy impossible to tell from pictures. Everything looks good in pictures.

 

well, I bought it! The color is not the greatest, but it's growing on me. The car is in excellent shape and has been babied all its life. for the price, I couldnt pass it up. let the modding begin!

 

First on my list would be solid red firebird tailights and fat-spoke ws6 wheels (newer style)

got any pics of the solid red tails??? it has chrome 5 spoke 16" wheels already w/new tires. After the tires wear out I will definitely be upgrading the wheels! and yeah I miss my Impy

 

i dont know about the color being rare, but I gaurantee there arent many m6 purple cars.

That's the color of my formula. I love the color. I was the same way when I first saw the car, but my dad loved it. I was more for a white z than a purple car. A good wax job goes a long ways for that color though.
