Purple 4th gen Camaros are cursed

Every single time I find a Bright Purple Metallic Camaro up for sale, it is so ratted out, that it just makes me shake my head.

Just thought I'd share my disappointment.

I'll disagree with ugly, but I'll agree with abused. It's insane the crap I've seen wrong with the BPM ones. They almost always have a huge dent, peeling paint, rockchips galore, or the worst possible appearance mods you can imagine.

Yes that is true. I would like to get one that color and make it beautiful just cause nobody else is doing it.

Fine, but you have to stick to cars for sale in the Northern half of the US. I claim the southern half.

When I opened this it has four squares with "no image" on them???

Remember what I said about people who like purple. Maybe that's why they're all trashed.

No need for the j/k. You and me both...

But then I wouldn't be making many topics here... and god knows we need new topics made in this section every few days.

In other news, my friend Matt (well... I haven't ever met him, but we've talked back and forth through email) sent me some pics of his BPM Z28. I'm starting to get convinced that something was added to the paint for the '98 BPM cars, because the '97s seem duller purple than the 98s.

It's pretty overcast in that picture, so the color is going to look darker than it would in full sunlight.

Even when I bought the TA, the one in the lot that everyone was driving was puple. it was winter out and that one was sitting outside in the cold so I test drove it, then bought the green one sitting on the showroom floor. Poor purple TA getting the hell beat out of it. Have to admit, I don't know if I've ever seen anyone driving a purple TA.

What is wrong with purple z's???? When you find one (any one - BPM, DPM or PPM) that is in good shape they are beautiful cars. I guess if you want to be ordinary and go for the white, red or black look, then you wouldn't like a rare color like purple! J/K about the ordinary thing... all f-bodies in good condition are beautiful. It is just that when you see a rare color f-body in good condition, it is AWESOME!!!
