has anyone thought about using these on the t-top locks ( if you would ever keep the ttop unlocked)

Yep, people do it all the time. They are just use the adhesive if they don't unlock them often (I would suggest that people never leave them unlocked). However, some people go to a craft or hobby supply store and buy some thin magnetic material (they usually come in thin sheets that you can trim with scissors) and use that to temporarily stick to the t-top lock. The magnetic material weighs more than the SmoothLock itself so it sticks well.
