Power Window Switches - 93 Z28

I'm sure a lot of you have broken the cheesy power window switches on the driver side door - it broke in my 1993Z and when I went to replace it I found out that the pod (for lack of a better word) that holds all the switches was held on with silicone. To me this looked as though the previous owner had broken the switch as well and somehow broke the 'pod' so that he had to silicone it on.
Since I didn't want to take apart the other for fear of doing hte same I was wondering if anyone knows how this is really held together?
I'm asking because I can't get the pod back in the wires from the door are pushing it up enough so that even super glue and silcone won't hold it on.
I guess that I have to get a new piece for this - anyone know the best place to get it (if there is any) other then hunting junk yards. Either that or I take apart the whole door and see if I can pull the wires back to take off some pressure then re-silicone it.

If you mean the little oval piece It's held on with metal clips

either he broke the mount where the clips pushed on or he got lazy

But, Yea go for junk yards or ebay or if you want brand new stuff I think it's like 28 bucks for a entire new piece from gm minus the switches.

driver side window switch is 13 bucks. pass. side is 8 bucks

I don't know how much the door lock switches are though but here's a site to look up stuff like that

that's awesome - thanks, exactly what I needed. I'll gladly pay the $ to get the new piece - thought it would be more of a rip-off then that.

I also need to get the door panel piece that the window switch etc. fits into. The tabs are broke on door panel side not the switch bezel. Do you know what that is called? I have looked on the website, but I'm not seeing it. If you know it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Tuff

Here's a direct link so you can find everything you need

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...=6&catalogid=2

I wouldn't buy it from the site with shipping it'd probably end up being more than if you would have just went to the dealer.

Hey, thanks for the info. I have check with my local dealer here and they want a 100.00 for the door bezel, so I think it might be a little cheaper on the site. Again thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.
