Which power antenna is correct?

My girlfriend bought me a TA/firebird power antenna off ebay. It looks just like this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW
Here is one pictured in a install page. Its installed in a Camaro

You can't really see the motor but the bracket is definitely different than the one pictured in the first link on ebay. I've seen two different part numbers listed. I'm trying to figure out which one is right. The one i have is 10402860. Which one is correct? Also if the first one is right where does it mount to?

i have the antenna, but its behind my sub box, heh.. but i do know that the bracket on the e-bay one is not what i have... i have the one in the 2nd link. im sure you can Fab a bracket to make it fit, all that it looks liek its doign is holding the antenna in place.

Thanks. The guys on LS1tech.com said that they made 2 power antenna's ones for 93-97's and one's for 98+ i guess i have the 98+ version i'm just wonder where i mount it to. I wouldn't think the 98+ have an extra bracket for the power antenna.

Re: Which power antenna is correct?

I finally got around to putting my used power antenna in my 02 Z28 Convertible. It's a 10402860 with Black mast and "flat" bracket. It came from a 2000 TA via ebay.
The bracket hole did not line up with any hole on the car, so a new hole was required. When extended, the antenna leaned way to the right. So, the bracket needed to be bent quite a bit.
I still have a little wiring to do, but here's the install so far...

Re: Which power antenna is correct?

Thanks Zeevert. I guess i should of posted that i got mine in so people for future reference would know that the 10402860 will fit and work. I just turned mine sideways and drilled and bolted it to the front side of the spare tire mount. I then gave it power and got it up all the way. Then had to bend the bracket accordingly to get it standing up straight. I do honestly appreciate you taking the time to take a pic and put it up. Thanks a lot.
