powdercoat/caliper paint

I want to powdercoat or paint my calipers the color of my stripes..i have a 30th ann SS soo they would be hugger orange......at the moment i was thinking of sending them to get powdercoated from BMR....my question is..is there any kind of caliper paint or a powdercoating kit i can get that will come close to or be the same color as my stripes???...i
i am trying to save a little on money...my all year round car just broke down lol...

I would paint them while the calipers were on the car with caliper paint. That's what I did. The caliper paint is good for 900 degrees. I also put some CAMARO letters and clear coated over the entire caliper. It has been about 3 years and they still look newly painted.

I used chevy orange engine enamel, it matches the stripes very close.

hey guys thanks ......where can i get some paint and clearcoat...what kinda clearcoat will last those hiigh temps...also would claening them with brakeclean and degreaser with a light sand help with keeping the paint to stick....??

anybody else....also how close is the chevrolet orange paint for the engine to hugger orange...i it way off or not much of a notice???

I used duplicolor engine enamel cause it's self leveling ceramic based paint I also used clear coat of the same type.
On the color match I can't tell ya for sure it's been awhile but I highly doubt chevy orange and hugger are the same...BTW if you do powdercoat them you are gonna have to rebuild you calipers just so you know in case you didnt know

yup planned on buying caliper rebuild kit...i like to do some research b4 i do anything to my car lol

Chevy Engine Orange is almost identical.. I painted an engine that colour and it's very , very close to hugger orange.

anybody else can confirm that Chevy engine orange is close to the hugger orange...i am really conidering this rather than dihing out like 150 bucks to get them powdercoated...where can i get the paint...thanks guys

Im thinking of getting mine powdercoated red. Where I work at there is a powder paint line. We make Caterpillar and John Deere parts so for FREE im gonna def try it.
