Dude, those background pics rock. I'm curious, are the Purple and Silver ones actual cars or just photoshopped or whatever???

Glad you guys like the backgrounds I made. I just updated the backgrounds page with a few new colors:

White and green

And I added a couple new pictures I scanned. Enjoy!!

 

The silver was available during the 96 and 97 run of WS6 ram airs. The Purple was only available in the 1998 run of WS6 cars I think, very few made.

 

Yeah, I knew that, but those specific colors in the background photos were definitely NOT available. Pontiac has never made such a gorgeous silver, and the Purple looks close to the famed Bright Purple Metallic of 98, which there were only 12 WS6 cars made. I just wasn't sure if it was photoshopped or not.

 

Yeah I photoshopped all those colors actually. I started with the red one as my base. Then I used photoshops Hue/Saturation tool to alter my colors. They turned out pretty nice I think. Enjoy the new pics I posted last night!!

 

That's a nice job on those. I'm actually contemplating using the purple one you did as the base pic for a paint shop to colormatch for my car if I don't go with the Charcoal Gray Metallic (Lexus color) instead.

 

Yeah that purple will look amazing on your ride. I am a big fan of the charcoal grey metallic too. Tough choice. Let us know what you choose and make sure to take lots of pics of the before, during and after and post em somewhere for us to see!!

 

Most definitely. If I go with the charcoal, or Carbon like the Lexus color I'm looking at, I'm going to go with black accents. If I do the purple, the accents are going to be silver or white. Still undecided on the 25th stripe. Most likely gonna be some new rims down the road too, probably ROH Drift R with the gay R cap replaced. There's just something about a 3" lip that's looks nice on these cars.

 

GO with Lexus color IMHO. It is VERY classy the purple is cool too but Mightymouses car is just too sweet

 

I'm pretty heavily swayed towards that right now. Who knows though, it's still a couple of months off.
