Why do you want to pin your hood?

Second car i bought was because some stupid kid decided hood pins would "look cool" so his hood blew up at 60mph and broke the windshield.

Basically if you have a legitimate reason for doing it i would go near the radiator supports on the frame. Just drill a hole and put the kit in. Get something good so they dont rust and use the biggest diameter pins you can.

safety first

I'm not a fan of hood pins, but if I were, I'd run the AeroCatch latches.

Not into the hood pin's unless it's on a VFN hood.

I think he means if you're pinning on a fiberglass hood that requires hood pins (like some VFN ones). If you're pinning on a steel hood... uhhhhh why?

Personally, I hate pin on hoods. Looks trashy, but that's just my opinion and nothing but my opinion.
