Post pictures of your lowered cars please!

Post pictures of your lowered LT1's please. Also included what spring/shock combo you are using, and how much the drop is. Also, are you running longtubes?

Re: Post pictures of your lowered cars please!

If you are planning on running drop springs with LT's its probably not going to work to well. My buddy put on a set of 2 inch lowering springs and he only had 1.5 inches of ground clearance between his headers and the ground. I put the same springs on my car and i have 3.5 inches of ground clearance with my SLP mids.

I know it's an LS1 but mine has eibach pro's and long tubes and i have plenty of ground clearance...Have to be careful around speedbumps and steep driveways but it's not that bad.

Here are a few pics. They should be in the HID album.

I have FLP longtubes w/ eibach springs (the kit that doesn't lower it as much as the other...i can never remember which is which pro or sport) and bilstein shocks. I have to watch out for speed bumps, but it's not the headers that bottom out, it's the driverside of the y-pipe. It didn't fit quite right from FLP so the shop had to make some custom adjustments which caused it to hang lower. BUt still not too bad.

This was my car when I first bought it

http://community.webshots.com/photo/...72379155yNWdpR

It had the Eibach Sportlines, KYB Gas A Justs in front, and the stock DeCarbons in back. I have since changed to stock springs...the Sportlines are just way too low, it was a 2" drop.

I don't know what it is about your car but that looks freaking sweet!

Maybe is the fact that you don't have the typical black accents you see on most white Z's. Whatever it is, she looks clean and mean. Nice job!

1" Hotchkis Springs, Monroe Shocks, Pacesetter LT's, no problems for me, of course I've never driven a car that hasn't been lowered with LT's so I'm used to it Pics are in my sig.

Re: Post pictures of your lowered cars please!

I have DMS springs with Bilstein HD shocks. It was about a 1.5" drop after I put my glass hood on. Before the glass hood with the stock steel the front dropped about 2". You can see pics in my sig on my cardomain, but I only have one of my car with the new hood.
