I love these SCCA Trans-Am and GT1 race cars.

 

 

 

 

 

You know what's surprising? I don't think anyone has posted a '99 in Bright Blue Metallic yet. It's rare you actually see one that is still in good shape. Here's some pics of one that was for sale a few years ago. I... kind of wanted to buy it as you can tell.

Sorry that the pictures kind of suck, my dad took them back in about 2004 and his camera wasn't very good.

 

The Firebird/Formula front end is so much nicer looking for the LS1 cars than the Trans Am nose in my opinion. That car is pure automotive sexiness.

 

Agreed, I was never a fan of the fog lamps near the license plate bracket.

 

 

That is VERY close to badass. I'd prefer it without the ram air though, or if the ram air stays, there needs to be a high rise spoiler! Plus it sits really high.

A '93 Z28 that was sent to SLP for the full SS conversion in the early 2000s. It was repainted Lamborghini Verde Ithaca, and it has less than 40,000 miles on it. How cool is that? I really like this one. The guy obviously isn't done working on it yet though. He's building the engine into a 383 and adding a Vortech supercharger. I can't wait to see finished pics!
