With the exception of the wheels, I think your car has a subtle and smooth yet very bad *** quality to it...well done

Thanks! Basically, I knew I didnt want a stock looking black Z28, so, I did the emblems (which im going to re-do in white), then I bought the clear turn signals, then designed the stripes and got the wheels at about the same time. Ive got kinda a black/white scheme I want to continue on.

I am going to step out of my shell and say that I thought what Dohhunter said was pretty funny and somewhat applicable. Every time someone asks for pictures of Cool Cars, or nicely done engine bays, or nice wheels....you are always the first one to post your own ride and throw it in everyone's face that it is the most incredible f-body anywhere.....Modesty?

If you car is the ****, other people will most likely post it for you. I love the fact that most of the people posting on this thread are posting other people's rides.

I think I have every right to be *proud* of what I have done. Sorry that I like to share that. I never once have tried to put it in anyone's face. You know there are plenty of other people around here who post WHEN ASKED about their rides, so what is the difference that I do the same? Isn't that what was asked here? I think I have a real nice LT1 and I think it is one of the nicest out there, so why attack me?? I have never once said that I am better than anyone else I just happen to think this car is great because of ALL of the hard work, that I have done for years on it. Is there anything wrong with that??

 

Im gonna have to agree with akrott1. It does seem like every time someone posts a "show your ride" post up, you are always the first one in line to say "check out my eye candy". While Im not knocking your ride in any way (which btw I think you have done a kick *** job on) its just that what may be eye candy to you may not necessarily be eye candy to someone else. Thats where the modesty bit comes in. But different strokes for different folks, so to each his own.

 

Agreed also, I think you do have a nice car. But, your sig kinda reads with a not so smug E! True Hollywood story tone of voice.

What do I know though, I'm a newbie and I've onlt spent 6K on my car and that includes the purchase price! Only $64k left to go!
