is it possible to retrofit a newer camaro console into a 95 console space? anyone done this.. possible..? thanks!

 

Yep you have to make one hole a little bigger but that's it

This is probably a duh, but will this also work with a manual tranny console?

Personally, I shoved a really fluffy black snowhat into the space and it really isn't that noticeable and covers up any wires or anything.

 

Manual console should work fine too. but the gap isn't that big at all I plan on molding a gauge pod to the underside of the radio bezel. but anything that blocks the view of the wires can work like say a piece of carpet.

 

I have a 98+ console in the for sale section. It is out of a 5spd car. The lower part of the console will work with any car. You can change the top part out to fit your needs. I have pics if anyone is interested.

I wish someone would make a nice piece to go in between the console and the radio. Lots of people have done this swap and i think someone could make money off of it. I would probably pay 40-50 for a nice well built piece that would go between the console and radio if it had some sort of holder, for CD's or just a pocket in it of some sort. Come on guys i always see people "gauging interest" and offering to make junk no body wants how come no one will make some of these. I may just have to make my own.
