Possible to "dye" 4th gen leather???
Hey guys. Well, since no one has black 4th gen leather seats, I am forced to go with the closest thing. Graphite. My question is, is it possible to dye this dark dark grey color to a more black if not jet black color? How is it done? Where can I get the materials and approx. how much will it run me to do all 4 seats. Thanks guys, I appreciate it

It is possible, but I dont know how. I sell seats to bodyshops all the time, and they ask for grey, and I have tan. They just have me send them anyway, and tell me they will dye them. That is all I know. I know you can do seats, dashes, and door panels. I would check with a GOOD body shop in your area and find out what the hell they do to make it work.

Ya I've seen em on ebay too, I just hate the whole bidding war thing. I wish someone would put a set of black leather for sale as buy it now. that would make my life so much easier. Tell your friends, I am willing to pay 550-600 shipped for a set of black leather camaro seats in excellent shape. THanks guys

Not all but some, the best one around here is 45 miles away, and I make the trip there about once every two weeks so that shows you the slim pickins. They had a set of black 96 leather for $875.00 They know what they have and they dont plan on selling it cheap. There are tons of yards in the city, but all their cars exposed to the elements, horrible, I couldnt find a single part to use on any parts car from one of those.
Anyway, I saw your post about stuff for sale the other day. I tried to access it a few times and it crashed my machine, lol. Still got some stuff for sale? Any good third gen parts? Thanks cowgirl
