Re: is it possible?

are we talking technically possible, or realistically possible? realistically, no. but technically, anything is possible. the cost would probably be more than just buying the hardtop you want. and then you get to keep both

Re: is it possible?

First of all why do you want to know if it's possible? Are you thinking of doing this? I think it would be cool to see one that has been converted. I have seen many hard tops that have went to a convertible, but never the other way. I would fully expect it to drain a persons wallet.

Your best bet would be to trade someone. I don't think it would be hard to find someone ether.

My answer would be realistically no way- unless you have access to a cheap donor car and are very good at welding/bodywork/paint the labor alone would make it not worth it.

It you want a hard/t-top your best bet would be to buy one.

Re: is it possible?

i am sure its possible, people chop tops to make convertables, so go to a junk yard and find a good top, then weld it on.
