i bought my car the way it is now but i really want CME (center mount exhaust) currently it has bbk headers into flowmaster 80 seriers muffler with 3 " tips --- is there a way to make my own CME or should i buy a premade or what ? --- btw it has no cat and was wondering if since it has no cat i could put a cat in? since its illegal and NY is gonna be very stingy soon thank you

 

Yea just buy the rear valance from www.slponline.com and you can get the tips there too. But, you can get the tips cheaper on www.ebaymotors.com and yes you can get a cat put in just ask when you get the tips welded in. Cats are expensive though you might just wanna find a Y-pipe on ebay or in the for sale forums with a cat and swap em out.

 

well my gramps owns an auto parts store and i can get mostly anything i want --- and i was at the shop (this fammily friend owns a shop with lifts etc) and he said for the cat i will just have to cut threw the welds and weld a new 3" high flow cat in there but it might not fix the inspection AND he said all i really need is the tips and the bent 3" pipe for the back ? is that possible? i know i can buy it but that slp says factory exhaust not 3"
