I like the Ram Air II hood because it is different and the scoops go over the windshield wipers like a cowl. I think it would look pretty cool. I was going to have a hood like that made about 2 years ago but couldnt afford it. I Need YOUR opinions!!

For an LT1, the big block hood. It is a dead ringer for the ZL1 hood. I don't know if you ever saw the ZL1 showcar in person when it had the the LT1 front end on it, damn gorgeous! I do NOT recommend SCC's Z style hood, my car sported the first one they made, its the red car on the link you posted. I am on my second hood from the first one warping. The new owner's customer service blows, my 2nd hood is now warped and suddenly the new owner does not honor the warranty on the hoods made before they switched ownership. Mine is going straight into the trash when my Ultra Z arrives, which I think looks best on LS1 cars. I am swapping to an LS1 front end.

SLP's photo's of the Ultra Z hood look downright terrible mainly because of a bad camera angle, which is probably why more people don't have them. A few guys on the board have them and from what I've seen they look pretty good. If I was going to get a non-factory look hood I'd probably go with that one... but I'm looking at a stock-style 18-pound hood from VFN myself

I think I am leaning more towards the SunCoast hood though...

 

For an LT1, I like the Big Block hood the most.

I like the Z style hood from Suncoast. The Ram Air II hood is ugly IMO. The inlets just come out of nowhere. And they get too tall too soon. And from what I hear they're terrible quality.

 

If I had a 4th gen Camaro, I would buy the big block hood.
