Re: Polished throttle body

I had mine done by the link below and was very pleased with it. He does good work with fair prices and has a great turnaround.

Re: Polished throttle body

No, however it is on my list. I have done my fuel rails, I am working on my alternator bracket right now. My alternator is next, then my Throttle Body, then the water pump. From there who knows what's next.

I started with 150 grit, 220, 400, 800 and I now just have to buff them and polish them.

Re: Polished throttle body

I did my alternator, Acc Bracket, Waterpump, Ported and Polished the Throttle Body (58mm), Polished a TB Elbow, Fuel Rails. I purchased polished valve covers and will work on the intake manifold vanes and power steering pump and a/c compressor next.

Followed Todd2001SS's polishing guide. It's a very good writeup on what to do yourself. Link to it is in my sig. I can post pics, but my results look pretty much the same as everyone else is posting.

Re: Polished throttle body

I polished mine, also the outside of the MAF, thermostat neck, & manifold fins.

It's time consuming, but the results are pretty cool when it's all said and done.
