Thumbs up PlastX and Power Ball FTW!!!!

My headlights have become so sandblasted from this climate down here (Southern NM). They were downright hazy...

I figured I'd try my Mother's Mini Power Ball and PlastX on the headlights to see if it would do anything.

Yep-r!!! It didn't get the big nicks out (duh) but it removed a LOT of the haze! I may need a new set of lenses still, they're FUBAR'd, but the PlastX helped a LOT!!! Two HEAVY coats and a HEAVY rub job w/ the Power Ball and here's what I got..

Keep in mind, this is a Cell Phone pic and you can STILL see the difference!! The headlights are SOOOO MUCH clearer now!!! ESPECIALLY at NIGHT! That effected the light output so much!

PLASTX IS GOD!!!!! This stuff could prolly cure Cancer!!!

PlastX on the left, Un Touched on the right. Look closely for the haze.

Looks really good. I used to live in Hobbs and Midland, so I know what you're talking about when you say "sand blasted."

I tried that and some other stuff on our Grand Am. It cleared it up compared to what it was, but nothing like that. I think the 176k miles on them had soemthing to do with it though.

^ I figured I'd try the powerball on it.. It worked.. Now the truck needs it.. The 'Ole 1995 Ford cataract headlights..

PlastiX has micro abrasives in it, so it's kind of like a liquid microfiber rub.

I used the powerball and the PlastiX. That didn't work so I tried a very mild polish and the PlastiX again. That still didn't work. I did this several times, but the yellowing and many dings were too deep. Just a product of the roads being sanded and salted then the crap being thrown up afterward. The original windshield was pitted pretty heavy too.
