Planning for upcoming Revision

I have a 97' Black Z28, at least it used to be a z28. I have heavily modded it. I am torn between selling it and keeping it, and because i have put so much money into the car, and accepted the fact i won't get what i would ask for it, i have half heartedly decided to look into updating it if i do keep the car.

Firstly, its black, and is 9 years old, so it has scratches and a ding here and there. These would have to be fixed, nothing major though.

This is what i am planning, painting the car an old muscle car yellow, and have black stipes down the middle, or down the middle and to the sides: "boss" style, but sense it's not a boss... anyways, if i do that, i would want a new hood, because the stock hood on a modded car doesn't scare anyone.

I don't race, so it's turning into a show car.

How much do you guys think it would cost, what kind of hoods do you recommend, and know anyone in the Chicago Area that would be intrested in doing it?

Lastly, anyone good at photoshop, i'll send you a pic if you can give me a concept of what i'm looking for.

Thanks!

I would go with a cowl hood of some kind. They always look good on lt1 cars. But there is alot of people who have them, so you may want something that is more different.
