I don't have any pictures of a whisper lid, but I used to paint RC car bodies which are painted from the inside. It is very Easy and you can do some incredible things. If I had a clear whisper lid on my car, their is no doubt I would be firing up my airbrush and working on a design. Maybe something where I left part of it clear. Go get yourself a piece of plexiglass and some RC Car Body Spray Cans and experiment. You have to use reverse logic when layering. Just mask your layers with masking tape, spray the base color, remove each layer and paint with the color of choice.

If you are looking for someone to do it....I may be interested in doing it.

Let me know how it turns out if you do it....

Yeah, I used to paint slot cars like that too. Lay down a clear coat, then the base, then the primer. turns out really nice and shiny
