Yes. It was produces in 98 only (except for a few promotional cars in 99) and made it onto 299 Z's, 36 SS's (29 coupes, 7 verts). It is Sport Gold Metallic.

Wow man!
That is really neat!
Must feel good to own such a rare color.

I think mine is likely one of 150,000 or so.........

Smoothlocks look good too!

Thanks! I went to a local car show and saw a v6 vert and a Z w/ the sports appearance package. Kind of upset me, but I will be okay as long as I don't see another SS. Don't feel bad, my 93Z was black, 1 of a billion

I just got done painting and putting mine on today. I didn't think my car needed a thread all its' own so I thought I'd lump them in here with the MUCH NICER Gold SS. Hopefully GTO2Z28 won't mind me bringing down his thread.

Close door shot, before and after.
Close trunk shot, before and after
Full side, quarter shot, before and after

The before shots aren't from the same day, so the lighting isn't the same, but you get the idea. Also of note, I painted the circular lock area that isn't covered by the smoothlock and the door handles while I was at it.

I forgot to add: I did clear coat them also, but I'm sure the color match on the locks and handles will be better once I can throw some compound and polish on there.

I like the look! Thanks again Jason!

They look great! I really like how you painted the lock area to match the smoothlocks--I think that looks better than the way I did it honestly. I think you may have upgraded the thread!
