Now for the other CETA mod. What do you guys think? I actually like it alot. And before anyone says anything...yes I know I have to paint the the handles black again and I'm gonna order the black PONTIAC fill-ins from Brent.

I'm not big on 93-97 TA's but yours is pretty damn nice.

 

I can't even stand the black rear panel on the CE Trans Ams themselves.


Love the car though. MBM is a badass color.

What color is that? Looks very close to my MBM LS1 T/A, but that was a '99 only color.

IMO most custom colors that are chosen for F-bodys are ugly. However, I believe you did an awesome job with yours. Every once in a great while I will see an LT1 F-body custom painted with good taste like yours, and I love it! Great job man!

how much did it cost you to get that painted?

 

I thought the color was mystic teal but some other members on another forum pointed out that it may not be, and it may be MBM. Oh well, in the end I like it! To get it all painted, the mirrors and sail panel, I paid about $225. Thanks for all the good comments. So far everyone has liked it.

 

I got it done at a local shop in Clovis, NM. As for how good of a job...it looks real good! I know black is a hard color to get perfect but mine is is like a mirror! There arent even any swirls or scratches yet. He even got in between the sail panel and rear hatch glass, under the t-tops, took off the mirrors to paint, buffed multiple time to get it perfect, and he said if I find anything just take it back and he will redo the WHOLE thing to make it perfect again. It looks good is all I can say.

 

So wait did you get the car painted, or just the mirrors and the sail panel? To me it sounds like he just got those painted black and the car was that color when he got it?
