Does anyone have a picture of atleast a

black z28 lt1 body style with a ss hood with the scoop part painted white?

If it had vette rims and red calipers that would be even better.


I was thinking about doing this to my car. Over all i'm thinking about getting a SS hood and painted the scoop part white then get some vette rims ( since i can prob get them cheap from a friend) and then i'm going to paint my calipers red.

Here is kind of a ghetto picture i made in paint. Its my Z with red calipers, ZO6's and i went and painted in the scoop in paint. You get the idea.

Not as bad as I thought it would be! Always liked silver on black.

im actually getting painting mine this summer when i get my wingswest kit on - but i gotta makesure its the right silver -

 

ohh and if u look real close in the full size u can see the pinstripe it will have to - white shows it better

ive seen a black scoop on silver in person - it looked real good - real good

 

yea now i'm just debating on rather to have it painted silver or white. I think i might like the white a little bit better. Then get LT1 5.7L on the side of the scoop or something.

 

I think LT1 5.7 on the side of it would be kind of stupid. I would either put some Black Ram Air stickers on it if you have ram air. If not i would wait until you are done modding your car and then get it dyno'ed and put the amt of Hp on the side of the scoop.

ive been looking into this for about 9 months now - have a painter friend that is willing to do soon as i give go ahead-

my only hesitation is with LT1 SS hoods they are kinda square at the top whereas on an LS1 they taper in- i was afraid it would be too much painted - but there is a guy on our board painted his red and it looked good- so im torn still
