I think they look better than stock, however I think it also proves nothing can be done to change the hideousness of salad shooters. Not trying to be a a-hole, I have them on my Z28 (unfortunately), but they will be the next thing to go.

I'm probably going to paint mine this weekend. I'm into black rims, have very little money (married with children 'nuff said) and I really am not interested in appearance over performance so buying new rims to impress people is not my ticket. The black rims give it a stealth look while saving money for performance parts that are needed right now. Rims, hoods, spoilers, etc.... are the very last things on my list.

wow my car is the same color and was going to do that to my salad shooters..really cool seeing it on the same color car and seeing what it might of looked like..if I didnt get my 02 Z28 rims.

paint the cap black but keep the chrome "nut" on the cap alone se what it looks like ...just a suggestion..

not sure if I like it or not have to see more pics..but nice..deffinatly diffrent...

What did you use on them? Flat black? Sandblast them or anything?

The paint is actually a metallic color, a little bit lighter than black. I got it at orchard supply. I didnt spend as time painting as i should have, I didnt even sand them. I just sprayed it on heavily, then used brake fluid to wipe it off the lip. Their not show quality but you can't tell unless you look real close.
