PIAA 1100x replacement bulbs

I don't know if this goes in appearance or electronics, but I put it here.

I know some of you have PIAA lights for fogs and some for headlights like me. I don't know what you pay for replacement bulbs but I would be that you don't like what you pay!

The only place I have found them locally the last time I replaced them charged me $70 per bulb/lens assymbly! With Tennessee sales tax, that's over $300 to replace all four!!!

Well, it came time to replace them again (I am driving with my fogs on and one headlight) and I found the 1100x bulbs at www.accessconnect.com for $33.90 per assymbly. Only $141.50 including shipping for all four!

I thought I would put this up here because last time I was looking for them, I didn't see anything here.

Let me know if you find them cheaper!

Do you know what kind of bulb it is?

I see what you are talking about $33.90 - but my guess is that's just a rip off.

I searched Google for PIAA 15352 and found quite a few other places that sell them in that range - but they have to be some kind of bulb - everywhere just calls them Bulb type: 12V-Dichroic 55watt=85watt XTRA Super White.

It is not just the bulb. It comes with the bulb incased in a lens with replacements for the little white rubber pieces that hold the bulb.

Yes they are expensive! The lights are around $100.00 per light. Looking back on the idea I would have spent that money on something like a new gear or nitrous kit but as far as appearance goes, I have had more comments about those lights than anything else! It definately sets my car apart from the other 93-97 f cars and the light they put out makes you think you are driving in the day. I have 20/20 vision and those yellow headlights from the factory are just junk imo.

Like I said, I would probably not do it again but I sure like the conversations that get started about my POS car just because of these lights. Had mine on the car now for 4 yrs and I have had to replace them twice. I also use my lights whenever I get the chance. Call me narsicistic (sp?) but I like to be seen.
