People With Aftermarket Hoods
How did it come? Like what kind of packaging? I may have to ship an ascd hood and am wondering how I would pack it up to ship. If you have pics please post them up.
I thought about making a wood frame for it out of 1"x4" boards with X braces and foam but it would be kinda heavy, but I'm not sure.
Help me out if you can

I work for a speed shop here in Minnesota and box hoods pretty often. We typically just build a cardboard box to fit. Then place the hood on it's side in the box. Pack it with cardboard sheets so it won't shift side to side. Then place the cardboard cap on. After that use a staple gun to seal it shut. Then mark which direction the box should be standing up for the frieght company. Lastly FRAGILE it all over and write the ship to and return address on the two sides.

P.S. the cardboard sheets I'm starting with are 77" by 99" and you need 2 of them.
PM me if you have anymore questions

If you have a LOWES in the area, go in and talk to someone in the receiving area. I work at lowes and we get really thick big *** sheets of cardboard of some of the shipping trucks. They are about 7'x5 or 6'. They should be able to help you out.
