panel that holds power window buttons loose, how to fix?

On my passenger door, the little panel that holds the power window buttons is really loose. I never noticed it till recenty, since I never sit shotgun.

Anyways, anyone know how to safely pop it out and check it? Can I just pop it out with a screwdriver? or do I have to becareful of something else?

I've heard of clips or what not.. anyone know any part numbers too if I need to replace anything?

you can use a flat head screwdriver and pry it out. But be careful not to break the flimsy plastic that holds the metal clips on.

On the top and the bottom, there are metal clips which can sometimes break or weaken. You could need new ones, they're about 50 cents a piece at my dealer. If those don't fix it, you need a new plastic piece, the one that has the switches in it. It's possible that it broke where the clips mount, mine did that, it was like $12 for a new one at the dealer, I jb welded a clip there, but it just didn't sit right until the piece was replaced.

Yeah, the clips there are weak and sometimes really don't hold them in securely. I fixed mine using a hot glue gun, that way if I need to take it apart I can.

Yeah, they were only like 13 cents at mine. I said screw it and bought the whole little bag that the parts dept guy had.
