Painting tips....post them within

Well, in making this post, I am hoping all the painters will come out and post any tips and info they have.

Chucks95 has been a huge help already, but there has to be some other people that have painted cars before. I am just looking for tips on techniques and stuff now, and just about anything else you have to offer.

Thanks

invest on a good quality paint gun. water filter for the air comp. rough sand before the primer and dont sand the primer to smooth. remove anything your not painting, and mask what you cant remove. thats all I can remember.

What do you want to know, be specific? If I were you, I'd invest in a cheapo HVLP gravity feed gun from Harbor Freight or Home Depot, you don't need a $500 gun if you don't have a lot of experience. Example, If I sat down at a $50K piano, I could play chopsticks, but If Beethoven sat down at a $15 keyboard, it would sound good. Its all in the painter. A quality gun is nice and helps, but you need some practice first, assuming you are new to the game.

Those cheapo guns are good for primer thats about it. I'll stick with my sharpe.
here's a tip :
Never put a freshly painted car or panel in the sun to dry.
2 things will happen
1. it'l start raining
2. the paint will blister
