Anyone ever done this? Pics available? The one i bought used isn't in such good shape and needs to be sanded down. Tips?

 

get diff grits of sandpaper. when i did mine i bought 800-2000 i believe. of course you start with the coarser paper and work your way to the finest of the papers. when you get it smooth, clean it up and primer it (i primered mine)
I did about a few coats, sanding down agan with the finer paper on some trouble spots. cleaned then painted, cleared n all the good stuff.
