Painting headlight buckets?

I'm going to be replacing my smashed front bumper and repainting it. Right now the headlight buckets and grill are like flat black, what do you think about painting them gloss black? Would make it look darker eh? Also where can I get those clear parking lamps, I found some on ebay but I'm scared they'll be cheap

Its sebring silver still. When I wash it and the black gets wet it looks darker and shiny and looks nice. Most likely will paint them black

You might try a coat of semi-gloss black first and see if you like it, then step up to gloss. You can get the clear corners here, although I've seen them on other sites:

I don't see why not....the roof is gloss black, the mirrors are gloss...it would flow and look really nice. Just think of those ls1 camaros I'm sure you've seen with gloss black grilles and how nice they looked.

Gloss black looks really, really good. There was a thread not too long ago about this and it had lot's of pictures. Now I can't find it.

Maybe it was a different board.

I have my front end apart waiting for parts to come now. So I painted the buckets and grill gloss black rattle can paint when it was off the car and it looked good so I'm definitely going to have them painted gloss and clear over everything when the bumper comes.
