painted my calipers and applied decals

I finished the job today finally. I ended up going with the red even though most of you said not to with a green car. I like the way it looks though, the camaro decals on the calipers look real nice.

Take a look at the pics, they're on the second page of my site thats in my sig. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks good! I like the red on a green car just fine...

I know a lot of you guys are painting them on the car. But I took mine off the car. It didn't take long to remove them and then I didn't have to worry about covering the car. I spent forever getting them clean. I wanted to paint the bracket silver also so that would require dissassembly. I'm really proud of mine also, even though it took a lot longer and more effort (getting the calipers clean) that I thought it would.

Here are a couple of pics of the calipers. When I need new rotors I am planning to get slotted or something, that will make it look better also.

Thumbs up Looks good!

Looks pretty good! Here's a link to mine. I got my decals from www.fourthcircledesigns.com and the co-owner can over and help me do the work in my garage. Took us around nine hours to finish it. They really set the car off nicely.

those look really good.

the paint cost me about 8 bucks a can (one red and one clear). on top of that the decals cost around 8-10 bucks, and on top of that the dremel drill bits cost about twenty bucks. So total was around 45-50 bucks.

You'll get even greater longevity from the paint if you put down a few coats of clear adhesive enamel (primer) before your base coats too and then follow that up with a few coats of clear.
