lol.. guess he got new plugs.. didn't even see that the first time! Sad part is, that's all gonna discolor once it's brought up to operational temp. Boy I hope they got out the acetone and paint thinner... Intake ports, exhaust ports, header-mating surface, valve cover surface... ouch. Never mind all the overspray in the heads that WILL show up in the oil filter for years to come.
hopefully it won't eat the bearings.
Again though... there's no saving those seals. Once you strip the paint off that telfon/rubber left is totally suspect.
LESSON: NEVER let someone take a SPRAY CAN to your EXPENSIVE engine build.

dang that motor is nice, ive been doing custom paint and body for years now and i recently sprayed all my brackets, alt, ws6 rims and some other stuff in porsche schwartz, and then hit my pullies with some flattned deep black. Ive done several high dollar restos and street rods using regular single stage car paints on the motor and they always turn out great and hold up amazing after years of abuse, i hate using spray paint on anything, its cheesy but you can get good results with the engine spray.. cant wait to get my convertible mustang done to start on the body of the trans am
