Well, I got tired of that white residue on the cheesy plastic cowl, so I decided to paint it up. I cut the stock vents and mesh out and replaced it with gutter guard, as I thought I would have problems with the stock stuff and thought I would go with a little different look. From the front of hte car, you can't really tell though, unless the hood is up. Check it out.

Thanks for the compliments. To get it off, I had to take the hood off and then use a 2 leg puller to remove the wiper arms. Once that was done, all I had to do was remove the things that held it down.

I know this is an old thread but, what type of paint and prep procedure did u use?

I know it's time that I get mine done. It looks very faded.
