That looks killer man!
Did you have a laid out plan with instructions for that or did you just fly at it?
I'd like to have mine done on my sleeping car by summer.

I did read over the guides on Brent's site. I used red brake caliper paint, applied the decals, then clear coated with engine enamel. It wasn't too hard. Just time consuming.

Looks good. Did you remove the calipers or paint them on the car?

I unbolted the calipers, but didn't take the brake lines off. I basically suspended them with wire in the wheel well, masked everything else off and then painted them.

Looks real good. Ill be doing mine in the Spring that same color. Not sure if I want the CAMARO decals on it yet though.

Also I dont think Im going to unbolt them, but Im going to mask the whole area off real well. Do you see much of a problem. Its only calipers and its not like people really see them much except for the front of it. Could I hurt anything painting them on the car or just not get all the little cracks as well?

The only thing that I was able to accomplish by unbolting them, was painting the brake pad bracket black for contrast. If you leave them on the car, the bracket will be the same color as the caliper.

Just a matter of preference.

I think quite a few people have done what you are planning with successful results.

I think it would just be easier to leave them on. Although your way looks really good. How hard is it to take them off without unhooking the lines?
Also did you clean yours up spotless first or just gave them a good brushing?

It's not too hard to take them off. Just a bit awkward to handle. I took a wire hanger and suspended them from the strut, then masked off everything around the caliper.

I washed the calipers the best I could before I took everything apart, then wire brushed the caliper then used cleaning solvent to try to get as much of the dirt as I could off. The front of the caliper was pretty clean, but I'm sure I could have done a better job on the rest of it.

The easiest would be just to take the whole thing off, but I didn't feel like messing with the brake lines.
