Paint for plastic
Paint for plastic
Sup guys,
I want to make the grille on my scoop red. Nobody makes a red one, only chrome.
My question is, what would be the best paint to use? I don't want it chipping off to where I have to re-paint it once a year. I plan on priming it, painting it red, and them puting some lacquer on it.
Thanks!
Jim

Don't know my paints, and I wasn't sure if there's a special kind you need to get. Basically look for something that says it's for use on plastic, right?

krylon is supossed to be making this new paint that chemically bonds to plastic but I looked and have not seen it in stores, i checked lowes, target, kmart, and a michel's craft store. There tv commecials for it about 2 months ago.
Thanks a ton guys! That's exactly what I was looking for... Something that is meant to be used on plastic.
Now I just gotta check out Sears and Wal-mart.
Thanks again and take care!
