Paint gun question.
I know this is in the wrong section but I want more people to see it.
I need to buy a paint gun I went on ebay, Would you buy a cheaper gun the have everything like adjustments and tips the an expensive one has or just get a good one. I have no experience with a cheap one I only painted with good ones that were used everyday and maintained. The cheap one off ebay look nice there like between $25 - $60 what do you think.
heres a few links

I can't make out the second sentence in this post....Are you asking if you'll be okay if you just buy a cheap gun that doesn't come with anything extra? Go to Harbor Freight, they have cheap HVLP guns that are supposedly okay from what I hear.
I see no use for a detail gun, if you are to shoot something small, or jambs, just turn the gun down low. Though i do see the importance of the cleaning tools.
I can tell you this: a 1.4 tip is okay for primer, and 1.8 for basecoat and clearcoat. Though you probably can make a 1.4 work for anything, 1.8 is better.
